These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Old School mobile application operated by The Old School ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use The Old School. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
One person may not maintain more than one account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Free & Premium Access
Free Tier: All users may read the first 4 panels of any comic at no cost.
Premium Tier: A monthly subscription unlocks unlimited reading access to all panels and exclusive content.
4. Subscription & Billing
Price: ₹199 per month (India). Prices in other regions are determined by the App Store / Google Play.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: The subscription automatically renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation: You may cancel anytime through your Apple ID Settings or Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Price Changes: We will notify you of price changes in advance. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
5. Refund Policy
All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds are subject to their respective refund policies:
The Old School has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. By using the app you agree to the following:
You retain ownership of content you post (comments, profile info).
By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app.
You must not post content that is illegal, obscene, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights.
You must not post spam, misleading information, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
We may remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
Users who post objectionable content will have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at our sole discretion.
7. Content Moderation & Reporting
Reporting: Users can report objectionable comments or abusive users directly within the app using the report and block features.
Blocking: You may block any user at any time. Blocking immediately hides their content from your feed and notifies our moderation team for review.
Review: Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Content that violates these Terms will be removed promptly, and the offending user's account will be suspended or terminated.
Appeals: If you believe your content was removed in error, you may contact us at contact@vegaiot.in to request a review.
8. Intellectual Property
All comics, artwork, characters, and other content provided by The Old School are our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Do not attempt to bypass the subscription paywall through technical means.
Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute our comic content.
Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Do not impersonate other users or create fake accounts.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
