1. Overview

IntelliDrive AI is a document management app that helps you organize and search files stored in your Google Drive. Your files remain in your Google Drive; we do not host or sell your documents.

2. Data We Collect

  1. Account & Identity
    Google Sign-In (basic profile info such as name, email, and profile image).
  2. App Usage
    Basic diagnostics (crash logs, performance data) to improve stability.
  3. User Content
    File metadata (e.g., filename, tags, extracted text, categories) stored locally on your device and in your Google Drive metadata file.
  4. Payments
    If you purchase in-app subscriptions or features, Apple processes payments. We do not store your payment details.

3. How We Use Data

  1. Authenticate your account and connect to Google Drive.
  2. Analyze documents locally to extract text and metadata.
  3. Provide AI search and smart categorization.
  4. Improve app performance and reliability.

4. AI Features

When AI search is enabled, the app may send limited metadata and document summaries to the AI service provider to rank results. Full documents are not uploaded to our servers. You can disable AI search at any time.

5. Storage & Processing

  1. Your files stay in Google Drive.
  2. Local data is stored on your device.
  3. Metadata is synced to Google Drive (e.g., documents_metadata.json).

6. Sharing & Permissions

You control sharing via Google Drive permissions. The app only accesses files it creates or manages in your Drive folder.

7. Third-Party Services

We use:

  1. Google Drive API for file storage and sync.
  2. Apple StoreKit for purchases.
  3. AI API provider for semantic search (if enabled).

Each provider has its own privacy practices.

8. Data Retention

You can delete data anytime by removing files from Google Drive or using account deletion in the app. Local caches are cleared on sign-out or delete.

9. Children's Privacy

IntelliDrive AI is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by your local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
